When do applications open and close?

This page provides application open and close dates. Applications may close earlier if seats are full.

• Application Status: Closed - Not accepting applications at this time. See 'Late applications' information.
• Late applications: Programs that accept late applications (e.g. EAL Pathways, ABE) are marked with an exclamation mark (!). Details are at the bottom of the page.
• Terms: There are three terms - 1. Winter (Jan - Apr)  2. Spring/Summer (May - Aug)  3. Fall (Sep - Dec). View the application period for each term.
• Programs with more than one month in a start term: Some programs start in multiple months within a term. The application end date for these programs is the date applications close for the last start month in the term. Visit the program page for details.

How are seats offered?

Most VCC programs offer seats to eligible applicants in order of the date complete applications were received. Eligible applicants may be placed on a waitlist if seats are full. Programs with competitive admission offer seats based on competitive requirements. VCC offers priority registration and reserved seating for qualified Indigenous applicants in all programs and courses.
