Pointe Work 1 (Women) (DNCE 1102)
Is an exciting and essential part of ballet training requiring strength and functional body alignment. Students explore the principles of classical pointe work with emphasis on technique and strength-building. Particular attention is brought to the articulation and refinement of classical line, balance and physical control. Students progress through the course with preparation for classical variations.
