This course introduces students to the function of the human body and the anatomical features of the hard and soft tissues in the head and neck. Students will also learn about tooth morphology, hygiene and health promotion to avoid infection and cross-contamination.

- Muscles of mastication, facial expression and tongue, blood vessels of the head and neck and nerves of the head and neck
