If you miss the online session to apply for your Social Insurance Number (SIN), don't worry! Service Canada officers will be visiting the VCC Downtown campus to assist you in obtaining your SIN on the spot. The process takes about 15 minutes, provided there is no line-up. Additionally, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) officers will be available right after to help you submit your Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) application.

When: Monday, January 6th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm (Pacific Time Zone)
Where: In Person at the Downtown campus (Room 237 & 240) | Drop in
What to bring: Your Study Permit & Passport documents

Note: Ensure your study permit has the condition/remark to work in Canada. If no indication, you will not be able to obtain a SIN. Contact the IE Office for instructions.
