Nursing Research (NURS 3265)
This research course incorporates a study of research concepts and techniques that enables students to analyze nursing studies and apply pertinent findings to nursing care. Students acquire familiarity with the process of scientific inquiry as the basis for generation of nursing knowledge. Underlying paradigms shaping nursing research are described in the analysis of qualitative and quantitative research. Students gain knowledge and skill in research utilization as the foundation of evidence-based nursing practice.
