Thompson Rivers University is calling all B.C. university and college students to get your groove—and your sweater—on and dance for climate change!
On Friday, Feb. 5, the TRU Sustainability Office invites you to join The Sweater Dance—a virtual living-room dance party intended to raise awareness about climate change.
Invite your COVID-bubble friends and dance the night away with DJ Common Sound on Friday, Feb. 5 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. During the dance, please turn down your thermostat (0.5 to 2 degrees) and put on a sweater to stay warm. Layer up instead of turn it up!
Who can join?
Current students, staff, or faculty members from any of B.C.’s 25 public universities or colleges! Space is limited so register early.
How do I register?
The registration deadline is Feb. 1 at midnight. You will need an official email address from your B.C. university or college to join. Register by emailing sustain@tru.ca and write ‘Sweater Dance’ in the subject line. You will receive a response with a link to the Sweater Dance by midnight on Feb. 3.
