Preparing for your career session

Before the day of your appointment, try to take one hour to look at these resources below. This can make your counselling appointment more focused and successful.

Compare wages between different careers. WorkBC can give you up-to-date statistics on 500 different careers in B.C.

  • Enter a career name into the search bar in the middle of the page (make sure your scroll down to get the correct search bar).
  • Click the blue box "A-Z Profile Search."
  • Click on the career profile of your choice.
  • In the "Table of Contents", click on "Earnings and Outlook" to explore labour market information about this career.

Find out which careers are most in demand in B.C.
