Essentials of Business Communication (HOSP 1312)

This course is designed to assist students to develop critical thinking skills and to apply oral and written skills and strategies for effective interpersonal and intercultural communication in the hospitality industry. Working individually, in groups and in teams, students will engage in the writing process to practice and develop skills in the creation, formatting and delivery of written business communication in diverse business contexts. Students will be introduced to ePortfolio development.
