Professional Practice 1 (DHYG 2134)
This course introduces theoretical models and constructs that inform dental hygiene practice. It will assist learners in gaining foundational knowledge, attitudes, values, and abilities pertaining to professionalism, professional communication, and evidence-informed approach to decision making, while recognizing the determinants of health relevant to culturally safe and ethical dental hygiene care.
