Clinical Dental Assisting Practice 1 (DAST 1408)

This clinical course provides an opportunity for the learner to integrate theory with clinical practice through online pre-clinical preparation and in the dental clinic/laboratory setting. The course takes place onsite at the Vancouver Community College downtown clinic and focuses on the role of the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Competencies are met through simulated manikin (SIM) and peer practice (PR).
