Accessibility at VCC

We believe that VCC students have unlimited potential, and it's our job to make sure our graduates and employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. To this end, VCC is committed to the identification and removal of barriers impacting people with disabilities.

Accessibility plan

The Accessible BC Act, which came into effect in October 2022, aims to improve the lives of people with disabilities by promoting accessibility and inclusion in all areas of society. It provides a framework for developing accessibility standards and plans, as well as a mechanism for addressing complaints related to accessibility barriers. The following Accessibility Plan was created in consultation with a diverse group of partners within the College and the Accessibility Committee.
