If you are domestic student who is new to VCC and you are starting a full-time program or transferring from another post-secondary institution in September, you may be eligible for an Entrance Award.

These awards recognize students' contributions to their personal and extended communities, honour perseverance and resiliency, and help students achieve their academic goals.

The one-time entrance awards are valued up to $2,500 each.

If you are already a VCC student in Career Access, Basic Education (up to grade 9), Adult Basic Education (grades 10-12), or EAL (English as an Additional Language) Pathways or Advanced Pathways, you may be eligible for a Developmental Program Area Award. These awards recognize students who have demonstrated a commitment to their studies.

The one-time Developmental Program Area Awards are valued at $500 each.
