How to Book a Keyboarding Assessment

This assessment is for VCC programs only.

Step 1: Go to the Typist site
- Purchase a voucher. The cost is $20 + GST
- Tip: To see what this process looks like, watch this video.
Step 2: Collect this information:
- Typist voucher number
- Your VCC ID number
- The name of the program you are taking the assessment for
Step 3: Go to the VCC RegisterBlast site
- Read and follow the instructions carefully (additional $20 to proctor the keyboarding)
- Choose the Typist Keyboarding assessment
- Choose a date and time
Step 4: Go to VCC's Broadway campus on your assessment day
- Identification: You need to show one piece of government-issued photo identification to enter the assessment room (e.g. a valid passport, driver's license, BC Services Card)
- Arrive on time! If you are late, you will not be able to enter the assessment room. Your fee payment cannot be refunded or transferred
