Applying to VCC
Flexible Admissions
If you do not meet the standard admissions requirements, VCC’s Flexible Admissions Policy may provide a pathway for you to be admitted to your program. The Admissions Officer for your program will help you determine if flexible admissions is right for you.
Flexible Admissions Pathways:
Mature Student Admission: This pathway is for adults who have not graduated from high school.
- You must be at least 19 years of age on the first day of class, and
- You must be able to demonstrate English Language Proficiency, and
- You must have completed English 12 with a grade of C, or equivalent, and
- You must provide any additional information requested (e.g. resume, assessment test results, etc.)
Individual Flexible Admission: This pathway is for applicants who have a non-traditional education background.
- You must submit an application and a written request for Individual Flexible Admission, and
- You must be able to demonstrate English Language Proficiency, and
- You must submit all appropriate documentation to support your application (e.g. official transcripts, assessment test results, etc.)
