Improve your skills and knowledge to succeed in your chosen career. Employment and Social Development Canada has identified adaptability, collaboration and communication as three of the skills for success for the Canadian workplace. Employers in Canada are looking to hire job seekers with these skills.
In the Workplace Skills for Success course, learners who are newcomers to Canada will:
- explore the importance of these skills in the Canadian workplace
- practice specific actions and behaviours that demonstrate these skills
- develop strategies to adapt, collaborate and communicate effectively in the workplace.
This is a fully-subsidized course for eligible participants. Recommended language level is CLB 6+.
