Special Project: Entry to Early Childhood Education Assistant Info session
Build the skills you need to start a career in childcare. Through this special project, eligible British Columbians can receive 16 weeks of training to prepare them to enter the ever-growing and in-demand Early Childhood Education field as ECE Assistants and/or pursue further education.
This training includes early childhood education courses as well as occupational language training and industry certifications in FOODSAFE and First Aid.
The priority group for this training is immigrant and refugee women.
Recommended language level is Grade 10 or CLB 6+. Occupational language training is provided to help improve language levels.
Tuition is fully covered and there is no additional cost to the participant or employer. Additional financial supports may be available to cover wraparound supports while participating in the program.
