Welcome to the VCC policy website, where you have access to the policies and procedures that are currently in effect and have been approved by the Board of Governors, Education Council, or the President.

VCC policies and their related documents are created with several goals in mind:

• identifying and removing systemic barriers to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
• fostering safety and well-being for all members of the College Community
• advancing the College’s mission, core values, and strategic directions
• promoting operational efficiency and effectiveness
• mitigating or managing institutional risk
• complying with legal, regulatory, and other requirements
• setting behavioral expectations across the College community
• communicating roles and responsibilities

Policies are reviewed and modified on a regular basis and are subject to rigorous internal review prior to recommendations for approval.
