Projects
There are many ways to support VCC students. Your donation can change the direction of many lives, by providing financial support directly to students through bursary and scholarship support. Or through investments that provide faculty with innovative and cutting-edge equipment and facilities to prepare students for their chosen career.
Gift the gift of education and help our students become career ready to move into jobs and their chosen career.
Flourish is VCC Foundation's annual fundraising experience. It’s an opportunity to come together to support our students as they change their lives through the power of real learning and hands-on education. Join us for an evening of food and wine, and help our community thrive.
The VCC Foundation supports students through their education with access to scholarships, bursaries and awards. These financial awards are made possible through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations who believe in education and want to ensure students today and in the future have fewer financial barriers while on their educational journey. Student awards not only ease the financial burden students face, but also provide encouragement and incentive to strive for academic excellence and complete their programs.
Three types of awards:
- Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement
- Bursaries provide students with financial aid
- Awards honouring student excellence based on criteria created by the donor including academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement
We work with you to tailor selection criteria that reflect your objectives and interests and will provide a suitable and lasting way to appropriately honour the name you have selected.
Two levels of funding donors can contribute to establishing a scholarship, bursary, or award.
- Named Endowed Awards
For a donation of $20,000 or more, your investment becomes a permanent asset of the VCC Foundation. The award fund may be named for you or in honour/memory of a family member, friend, organization, or colleague.Capital Investment

Students from time-to-time experience tremendous financial hardships that were not planned or anticipated. This fund is in place to support all students in their greatest time of need.
With your help, we are delivering Hampers with fresh food, school supplies, health, and personal hygiene products at different times of the year (Back to School, Christmas, and Easter) to our Indigenous students. Each hamper value ranges in value from $100 - $250.
Giving Tuesday is an internationally recognized day hosted on the last Tuesday of each November. Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving for people to support the causes important to them, and to celebrate the act of Giving in whatever ways they can.
This year through our Giving Tuesday matching campaign, we are raising funds to combat food insecurity for students at VCC. Learn more and make a donation today.
