VCC sponsors Korean-Canadian scholarship foundation’s awards gala
Vancouver Community College (VCC) would like to extend its deepest appreciation to the Vancouver Korean-Canadian Scholarship Foundation board and team for their unwavering support of VCC students. Their commitment to fostering educational opportunities is truly commendable, and we are sincerely grateful for this ongoing partnership.
The annual awards gala this past Thursday, Aug. 15, was a tremendous success, and we are thrilled by the positive feedback we've received. The staging, table and room setup, AV, and overall ambiance were exceptional, creating a memorable experience for all who attended. A special thank you to Chef Roland and our talented VCC Culinary Arts students for the exquisite dinner, which added the perfect touch to a wonderful evening.
VCC was proud to be a platinum sponsor of the event, and we were thrilled to welcome this annual awards gala for the second year to our Broadway campus. Of the 33 recipients receiving $67,000, five were VCC students.

The Vancouver Korean-Canadian Scholarship Foundation (VKCSF) is a charitable non-profit organization that provides scholarships to qualified students with Korean heritage and connects them to previous VKCSF scholarship recipients and industry leaders.
Scholarship recipients are chosen based on academic or vocational achievements, community involvement, leadership, and personal essays. Donors can create scholarships with specific criteria, such as the institution, field of study, or financial need.
