At both VCC campuses, you’ll find great spots that serve up affordable, tasty meals available to the public. VCC-led food services are run by students under the guidance of their instructors, giving students the opportunity for hands-on, real-world training that truly embodies the VCC experience.

Seiffert Market + Bakeshop
Thanks to a generous donation from the Seiffert family and Snow Cap Enterprises in 2023, this community institution serving high-quality baked goods, prepared foods, and local coffee modernized its facilities and relocated to street level at the Hamilton Street entrance of the Downtown campus. Items are made by VCC’s Baking & Pastry Arts, and Culinary Arts programs.
Location: Downtown campus, Hamilton Street entrance
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Asian Kitchen
Students from VCC's Asian Culinary program serve up dishes from Malaysia, China, Korea, Japan, East India, the Philippines, and more at the Downtown campus. Menu items change weekly. Graduates have gone on to great heights with alums winning gold and silver place at World Championships of Cantonese Cooking in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Cafeterias
The cafeterias at both the Broadway and Downtown locations offer a wide variety of food options. From pizza to hot sandwiches, salad bowls, global cuisine, and more, you’re sure to find something to delight your taste buds. Check out the daily specials including fresh pasta, made in-house and the always popular crispy chicken sandwich.
Quizine: 2nd floor of building A, Broadway campus (Glen Drive at 8th Avenue)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. (coffee and prepared goods); 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (lunch service)
Downtown cafeteria: Downtown campus, 3rd floor
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8 – 10 a.m. (coffee and breakfast service); 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (lunch service)
The Bistro
For a sit-down option, check out the Bistro restaurant. Run by students and instructors in the hospitality management program, choose from a wide variety of options from soups and salads, to burgers, to global cuisine. Reserve a table at 604.443.8352 and take-out orders can be placed in person.

The Bistro at JJ's (all day on Fridays)
Lunch: 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. | Dinner: 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
JJ’s Restaurant
This fine-dining options is run by students who are in their 2nd level of cook training. Enjoy a three-course a la carte lunch which is priced and produced with the highest level of passion and care by students with the guidance of their Chef Instructors. In 2023, the eatery won OpenTable’s Diners' Choice Award this year for Best Value and Special Occasions.
In the evenings, JJ’s is converted into Chef’s Table. Diners can enjoy a gourmet five-course prix-fix menu with optional selected wine pairings. Reservations required.
