CMHA-BC Appoints VCC's Clayton Munro to Board of Directors
Vancouver Community College (VCC) is excited to share that Clayton Munro, Associate Vice President of Student and Enrolment Services, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division (CMHA-BC) – an organization that stands at the forefront of mental health advocacy, committed to enhancing well-being, supporting resilience and recovery, and offering education, research, and services across British Columbia.
Reflecting on his appointment, Clayton shared, "I am deeply honoured to join the CMHA-BC Board of Directors and humbled by the opportunity to extend my passion and personal dedication for mental health advocacy and community well-being that much further.”
VCC proudly supports Clayton taking on this significant role and serving the CMHA-BC in this important leadership capacity, as it underscores VCC's commitment to building a healthier, more inclusive society. With Clayton’s appointment, CMHA-BC and VCC are both able to highlight an impactful collaboration between education and mental health sectors.
In 2022, VCC released its first Mental Health & Well-being Framework, which was developed in in partnership with the CMHA-BC and Healthy Minds Healthy Campuses in an effort to systemically, collectively and holistically guide our well-being efforts in promoting mental health for the years ahead.
