Important Notice: Impact of Canada Post Strike on VCC Postal Services

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, postal service to and from VCC is currently on hold. If you are a current or prospective VCC student and have sent payments or documentation through the mail, please follow the guidelines below to ensure that all payments and documents are received.

Information for Students

Payment of Tuition Fees

Tuition payment deadlines remain unchanged. To ensure that your tuition fee payments are received on time, we encourage you to pay your fees via online banking, in-person, or by using Flywire. Visit the Fees and Payments website for more information.

Student Loans, Awards, Bursaries, and Grants

For details on submitting or receiving documentation related to student loans, bursaries, and adult upgrading grants, please visit our Student Financial Aid and Awards website.

International Students

If you are a current or prospective VCC international student, documents you may have sent via mail may not be received in a timely fashion. We are here to help. If you need assistance, please contact the VCC International Education office directly.

Transcripts

VCC will continue to issue official transcripts upon request. Transcripts will be available for pick-up at the Admissions and Registration office

Important Update:

  • Emailing of Transcripts: Transcripts will not be emailed directly to students. Instead, they will only be emailed to other post-secondary institutions (PSECS) or organizations such as certification and licensing bodies, provided a verifiable and secure email address is provided (e.g., undergraduate admissions at UBC).
  • Not all PSECS are currently set up to receive XML transcripts, so students must verify the preferred method of transcript delivery with the receiving institution or organization.

When requesting a transcript, please clearly indicate how you would like the transcript delivered: via mail, email (to a secure institutional or organizational address), or pick-up. Note that some institutions, such as UBC, do not accept emailed transcripts, so students should confirm these requirements beforehand.

For further details and to request a transcript, please visit our Student Records website

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and are committed to ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
