VCC unveils rebranded website

Vancouver, B.C. -- Get a load of our new look.

Vancouver Community College has unveiled its new, rebranded website, the result of more than a year of planning, research, design and development.

The site -- VCC’s primary recruitment and information tool which welcomes nearly one million unique visitors each year -- features a modern design and improved navigation and functionality. New features include dynamic photos, an expanded events calendar, live social media feeds, videos, and enhanced information pages for hundreds of courses and programs.

“Our new site was designed with the user in mind,” says Catherine Clement, executive director, marketing and communications. “We listened and gathered feedback from across the college and are confident that we’ve created a user-friendly online experience that meets the needs of prospective students and the VCC community.

Anyone who logs on to the rebranded site will find easier access to important information, such as Aboriginal services, programs for international students, and all the perks that come with being part of the college community. VCC’s website is used by many different user groups including prospective and current students, staff and faculty, and other stakeholders looking for career opportunities or information about the organization.

The project was led by VCC’s marketing and communications team and guided by consultation with current students, employees, and external stakeholders, as well as research and data related to website usage and up-to-date industry standards and trends.
