Scheduled power outage at Downtown campus

Please be advised VCC’s Downtown campus is planning a series of scheduled power outages as part of the Main Transformer Upgrade project.

An operational shutdown of all power at the Downtown campus will take place on:

Date: Saturday, January 18, from 7 p.m. to Sunday, January 19, at 7 a.m. 
Duration: 12 hours

Please ensure your computer is turned off before leaving on Friday, Jan. 17. Regular operations will resume as normal on Monday, Jan. 20. Broadway campus will not be affected by the power shutdown.  

During the shutdown, the Downtown campus will be closed, and access will be strictly limited to authorized personnel in Security, Facilities, and IT for safety and security reasons.
