Kodály Solfège II (MUSC 1201)

This course builds upon Kodaly Solfege 1101 and covers the Kodaly concept and methodology of relative solmization.  Topics include the moveable do method (including the Curwin hand signs), listening, sight-singing, rhythm, inner ear, intonation, part-singing, dictation, analysis, co-ordination of tapping different rhythms while singing, and recognition of intervals, modes, chord progressions, meter, and modulation.
