Introduction to Fixed Prosthodontics (DENT 2005)

Foundation knowledge and supportive laboratory skills related to the fabrication of single unit metal restorations is introduced and practised. The knowledge, skills and attitudes that are required during dental technology practice of: preparing and trimming master casts, producing custom trays, articulating casts using semi-adjustable articulators, fabrication of single unit metal restorations, and the repair of restorations are the foundation of the theory and applied laboratory practice of this course.
