Design for Print (DGRD 1115)

It is the goal of this course that students will confidently apply client communication objectives and design application-specific principles to a variety of projects destined for print. Students will strengthen their communication skills as they learn to develop highly efficient teams. Students will select appropriate production methods as they create effective design applications destined for print using industry standard tools. Students will be able to meet all technical requirements and deadlines when taking their solutions to print production. While working through these concepts, students will develop and strengthen proficiencies in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Prerequisite: DGRD 1040

This course is part of the full-time Digital Graphic Design program.
