Composition (DGRD 1040)

It is the goal of this course that students will confidently apply client communication objectives and design principles to a variety of compositions. Students will produce a detailed client brief and work with industry standard tools as they develop viable visual and verbal concepts.  Students will learn to communicate effectively and professionally as they justify their design decisions and confidently engage in the peer review process. Students will be able to meet all technical requirements and deadlines when taking their solutions to production. While working through these concepts, students will develop a proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Prerequisite: DGRD 1030

This course is part of the full-time Digital Graphic Design program.
