Advanced Sign Language (SIGN 031)

This 60 hour course is offered on a part-time basis in the Fall. This course includes on-going vocabulary development, more advanced structures and grammatical forms of ASL, as well as insight into the culture and community of Deaf people. In addition, group discussion, narrative skills, and dialogues to develop the grammatical forms and syntax are included.

Prerequisite: Completion of the full-time 10 month VCC ASL and Deaf Studies program OR SIGN 020 Basic Sign Language or equivalent
