Adobe Illustrator for Interior Design Level 1 (INTD 1140)

In this class students will be introduced Adobe Illustrator and learn the basic operating tools of the application as it relates to the field of interior design and decorating. Students will learn how to draw line art to produce interior floor plans to scale/ratio from CAD reference files for the specific purposes of presentation of print materials routinely used for publications and online digital content for interior design. Through lectures, demonstrations and in-class labs, students will be able to operate the program at a basic level to further their learning for more detailed work. This is course is a prerequisite for Adobe Illustrator Level 2. (15 hours)
