New VCC students and applicants

Your username is your VCC Student ID (e.g. 000123456).

If it's your first time logging in, your initial password will use your birthday in this format: VCCMMDDYY# ("VCC" plus your birthday (MMDDYY) plus "#"). E.g. if your birthday is January 30, 1995, your initial temporary password will be VCC013095#.

Following your first login, you will be prompted to create a new, secure password.

Password requirements: VCC requires the following elements to ensure passwords are secure:

• Password length of minimum 13 characters
• Must contain upper- and lowercase letters
• Must include at least one number
• Must include a special character (e.g. ! # $ % …)
• Must not contain account holder's first or last name
• Must not be one of the passwords previously used
