You were admitted to VCC based on scanned or photocopied educational documents. Scanned and photocopied documents were for initial evaluation only. Original official documents are required for final verification.
The IE Office is accepting your original education documents during scheduled drop-off times. Please plan to submit your documents to us during one of the below dates. If you are unable to drop off your documents, you can mail your documents to us (instructions below).
If you do not submit your original documents to VCC, you will be blocked from registering or attending future terms and you will not be eligible to graduate from your VCC program.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No appointment is needed to drop off your documents. Complete the Original Document Submission Form before you arrive and include the completed form with your package of documents.

Note: Please include the completed Original Document Submission Form in your package. VCC is not responsible for educational documents lost in the mail. We recommend that you send your documents with a tracking number.
What are original educational documents?
These are the documents that you submitted by email to VCC to be admitted to your program. E.g. high school and post-secondary transcripts, graduation certificate or diploma. Documents must be original and official – hard copies; scans and photocopies not accepted.
Why do I need to submit my Original Documents?

Which educational documents do I need to submit?
Please submit all previous educational documents that you used to apply to VCC such as high school transcripts, college/university transcripts, graduation certificate and credentials including certified translations if these documents are not in English. If you are still unsure which documents you need to submit, check the Program Page for your program and submit all admissions documents listed. Note you do not need to submit original IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo documents (these were verified via an online verification system).
My documents are irreplaceable, how can I get them back?
When your documents have been verified, we will contact you by email or by phone to let you know that they are ready to be picked up during our office hours. If you submitted your documents by mail, you can pick them up from the IE office when you arrive in Canada.
What happens if I don’t submit my original documents?
A hold has been placed on your account which will block you from registering or attending future terms and you will be blocked from being awarded your credential (ie. graduating)
Can my friend/family member drop off my documents for me?
We recommend that you drop off your documents yourself, however, if that is not possible you can request that your documents are dropped off by someone else on your behalf. To make this request, you must email us at email@example.com with the name of the person dropping off your documents and the drop-off date at least 3 days in advance.
I have already mailed or submitted my documents and would like to know if you received them.
We will send you an email after we have verified your documents which may take a few weeks. We cannot send an additional email to confirm that we received your documents before they have been verified.
