Admit, Transfer and Discharge (HLUC 1120)
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to compile and maintain a patient's chart and to understand the legal and ethical guidelines that influence its usage. The procedures for performing and managing patient admissions, transfers and discharges in an acute hospital are the primary focus of this course. Problem-solving techniques to manage admissions, transfers and discharges are discussed and practised.
