Leadership and Ethics in Nursing (HLTH 1120)
It is important to note that this course places a strong emphasis on individual, reflective work and encouraging participants to move beyond self-imposed limitations. The facilitators believe that the “work” of leadership is an ongoing, dynamic process that requires leaders to continually evaluate skill sets, competencies, gaps and areas that require development. This self-reflection and a willingness to look at one’s strengths and weaknesses are critical to the development of leaders.
