InDesign Level 1 (CMPT 1406)

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard page layout program for multi-page print advertisement. This course is a comprehensive exploration of InDesign tools, panels, and basics. Learn how to set up documents and master pages, import text, advanced graphics and how to use typography and styles. Create professional, simple, multi-page print materials such as flyers, brochures, reports, magazines, and newspapers. Hands-on in-class exercises include industry standard projects. Required supplies: Please bring a USB stick to class. Please purchase textbook from DTN bookstore prior to course start date. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Windows. (recommended) (15 hours)
