Health Promotion 2 (NURS 2003)

This course focuses on health promotion as it relates to the aging process. Health promotion activities are aimed at supporting clients in maintaining their health. The concepts of health promotion, physical and mental wellness, normal aging changes and continued independence are examined.

Prerequisites:   Successful Completion of Level 1 Theory courses and Consolidated Practice Experience 1.

Co-requisites: Professional Communication 2 (NURS 2001); Professional Practice 2 (NURS 2002); Variations in Health 2 (NURS 2004); Pharmacology 2 (NURS 2005); Integrated Nursing Practice 2 (NURS 2006).
