Fitness, Health and Wellness (OPTA 1103)

This course provides an introduction to the concept of healthy living with an emphasis on the health-related benefits of physical activity and lifestyle choices. The components of a physical fitness program are examined, including principles of training and exercise precautions. This course also provides the opportunity to learn, develop, and practise skills required to lead individual and small group exercise sessions.
