Class Piano I (MUSC 1153)

A skills course in keyboard musicianship, equivalent to the proficiency level necessary to be eligible to take Class Piano 1253.  Class Piano 1253 is the level required to meet the piano proficiency requirement for the Music Diploma for the following majors: Classical Voice, Instrumental Studies, and Composition.  Note that Keyboard Studies and Contemporary Instrumental Studies (Piano) majors have met the diploma requirement for piano proficiency by their successful audition and acceptance into the program.
