Improve your English to find work in Canada. If you are an immigrant with an education from abroad, you can upgrade your English language skills in order to advance yourself professionally or take career training. The focus is on language and socio-cultural competencies required for success in the Canadian workplace.
Students may choose to study full-time or part-time.
VCC's Professional Career English (PACE) department offers a variety of ESL courses within a professional context:
English for professional advancement (EPA).
Courses for career preparation and advancement, including English for Health Sciences 1, English for Health Sciences 2, Communications for Engineers and Technologists (CET) and the CELBAN preparation course.
Combined skills, including ESL/baking, ESL/culinary, ESL/health care assistant.
These courses are flexible and individualized, incorporating online seminars in speaking, writing, reading and listening. Students may also access individual tutors.
