Thank you for choosing to apply to VCC.
- Register as an apprentice. To enroll in apprenticeship training at VCC,
you must first be a registered apprentice with the
Industry Training Authority. To do this
you and your employer, submit an
Apprentice and Sponsor Registration Form to the ITA.
This registration allows you, your employer and VCC
to track your progress in completing the requirements
of your apprenticeship. Once you are a registered apprentice, you can
register for your in-school technical training at VCC.
- Pick a date. Consult the
Apprentice Training Timetable
and find a date that is suitable to
both you and your employer.
- Apply to VCC: Applications by new students to VCC are accepted online.
You will be asked to create a VCC account with a temporary myVCC login ID and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Select the application type "Apprenticeship Application" and complete your application.
- Receive confirmation. VCC's Registrar's Office will contact you when we
receive your application form.
If you are unable to apply online, you can complete the VCC Apprentice Application Form ( 106 KB).
If you have any questions about how to apply to VCC for apprenticeship training, email our apprentice coordinator or call 604.871.7041.
Successful applicants to VCC receive letters advising them of the dates by which to register and the deadline for payment of your fees. Please be aware that VCC maintains waitlists for many of its programs; students who do not respond by the deadline dates may be dropped from the waitlists and can jeopardize their opportunity to register. Students entering continuous intake programs may register at any time space is available.
