Health Services
Helping you to stay healthy and get more out of your education
At VCC Health Services, we know your well-being is an important part of the learning process.
Vancouver Community College provides on-site health services for all students and staff at both the Downtown and Broadway campuses. Appointments are usually available the same day with VCC's physician, Dr. Graham Burns, who has been practicing at the college for years.
Please bring your B.C. Medical Services Plan CareCard as valid medical insurance is expected. If you don't have one, we can help you to obtain medical coverage and a CareCard.
All VCC Health Services are confidential and we encourage students to come in for their immunizations, sexually transmitted infection counselling, pregnancy counselling, stress management, and TB skin tests.
For 24-hour Emergency First Aid: call 4444 from any campus phone or use the yellow Help! Phones to contact VCC Security who will dispatch a first aid attendant. From a cell phone you can call 604.871.7000, ext. 4444.
