Learn the latest office management and technology skills at home. This web-based program will teach you what you need to perform a real world office environment. This e-learning certificate is a collaborative effort between community colleges and the Centre for Cirriculum Technology and Transfer to develop a collaborative online program for e-learners (COPE).
This certificate is offered 100 per cent online, part-time. Courses are accessed via a learning management system provided by BCcampus to its consortium institutions. All course resources, activities, instruction, and communications take place in an online learning environment. Instructional activities vary by course but typically include individual and collaborative group work.

Effective oral and written communication techniques
Demonstrate time management techniques by determining work priorities
Create, revise, and process business correspondence and documents
Use word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software to perform a variety of assignments to the professional standards expected in an office

Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
English 12 with a C grade or better.
Applicants whose first language is other than English and who are presenting foreign documents equivalent to Grade 12, must complete a VCC English language assessment.
Recommended characteristics

Good command of oral and written English
Ability to understand and follow written instructions
Comfort and familiarity with the basic functions of a computer and the Internet
